Toshiba Satellite Pro European laptop computers (usually referred to as Sat Pro laptop computers) usually ship with Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows XP Recovery CDs or Toshiba Sat Pro Windows XP Recovery DVDs (also known as Toshiba Sat Pro hard drive Recovery CDs, Toshiba Sat Pro hard drive Restore CDs, Toshiba Sat Pro hard drive data Restore CDs, Toshiba Satellite Pro hard drive Recovery DVDs, Toshiba Satellite Pro hard drive Restore DVDs or Toshiba Satellite Pro hard drive data Restore DVDs ). The Toshiba Sat Pro Windows XP Recovery CDs & Toshiba Sat Pro Windows XP Recovery DVDs are specifically designed for your Toshiba Satellite Pro computer, usually contain an image of what was on the computers hard drive when it was first bought. They allow you to return the Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop to its original state (as new). This is particularly useful if the laptop has been attacked by a virus, if the original hard drive has developed a fault, or if you simply wish to replace or upgrade the laptop hard drive, & need to re-install your original software.

If your Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to re-install Windows XP from your Toshiba Satellite Pro Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows XP Recovery DVD & then install quality anti virus & anti spyware programs .

If your Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the Sat Pro laptop hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & Restore Windows XP & the original software from your Toshiba Satellite Pro hard drive data Recovery CD or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows XP Recovery DVD. This process will usually involve replacing the hard drive & then placing the Toshiba Satellite Pro Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows XP Recovery DVD in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the Toshiba Satellite Pro Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows XP Recovery DVD & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).

Please note; with some Satellite Pro laptops, you will need to tap the "c" key as the system is restarting.
